A structured Arabic, Qur'an, and Islamic Studies framework — aligned with the Noor Al-Arabiyya series and ACTFL proficiency standards.
The Noor Al-Arabiyya Series
Our Arabic program is built on the internationally recognized Noor Al-Arabiyya six-level series, designed specifically for non-native speakers growing up in non-Arabic-speaking environments. It is aligned with ACTFL proficiency standards, providing a structured pathway from zero literacy to functional reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Progressive skill-building from alphabet to essays
- Thematic units rooted in daily life and culture
- Integrated workbook, audio, and teacher guides
- Reflects Arab and Islamic culture in an engaging framework
The program is designed to build confidence and accuracy step by step — especially for students growing up in non-Arabic environments.
Memorization, Recitation & Understanding
The Qur'an curriculum follows a structured, developmental sequence combining three pillars — working hand in hand with the Arabic language track to deepen both fluency and meaning.
- Hifz (Memorization): systematic memorization from short surahs toward longer passages through consistent review cycles
- Tajwid & Tartil (Recitation): correct pronunciation, rhythm, and articulation taught from the foundational stage
- Meaning-Based Understanding: connecting memorized verses to their meanings using vocabulary from the Arabic curriculum
- Long-term goals: 2 Juz’ per academic year, building toward complete 30 Juz’ memorization over 7–8 years
The Qur'an program works hand in hand with the Arabic language track.
Four Foundations of Faith-Based Learning
Our Islamic Studies curriculum is built on four age-appropriate foundations that nurture strong belief, sound practice, and beautiful character.
- Foundations of Faith: the pillars of Islam and basic aqidah (creed), taught accessibly
- Acts of Worship (Ibadat): practical instruction in salah, fasting, zakat, and Hajj
- Prophetic Manners (Adab): character education rooted in the Sunnah — respect, kindness, honesty, and gratitude
- Selections from the Sirah: age-appropriate stories from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Ajyaal does not teach positions. It teaches principles — focusing on the shared foundations of Islam.
